Free Car Program Review-March 2010
We've reviewed the 'Free Car' programs offered on the net today. Here are the best ones (...and the worst).
There are quite a few folks out there offering deals on free cars in exchange for advertising. If you're really in need of a free car, as opposed to letting somebody wrap yours in an ad, you really have to be careful. Here are the ones that offer the best value for your money. Free Cars - the best sources...
#1 - Free Car Guru. This one gets my vote. His site looks a little squirly, but as far as the quality of the information on his site goes, he's got it right. He's got an ebook called "18 Ways to Drive a Free Car" that makes a lot of sense. This alone, is worth the price of admission. I highly recommend it. Plain, simple and good information without a lot of hype. I had a problem accessing his site - he got back to me within the hour. His directory is a little more expensive, but that 18 Ways book makes it worth the price.

| #2 - Free Car Directory. Strong Choice. Joe Ventura bought Free Car Directory back in April, and has improved FCD's offering significantly. Free Car Directory now offers 5 more wrapping options than it did before, the gift of free airline tickets for his subscribers, and guaranteed 24-hr resolution of any customer service issues that might come up (that's impressive). Considering the airline tickets to go along with his offer, Free Car Directory is well worth the price. If he keeps this up, he'll find himself at #1 very soon. |

| #3 - Free Car Source. Not bad. My only gripe about this one is they don't make it readily apparent that you'll be driving a vehicle with an ad on it (Trust me, you will). On the upside, they offer online support and will email you whenever they find an advertiser in your area that might offer you more money or a better quality car (or truck). They'll put you in touch with the companies that specialize in free cars. They'll even give you a free report on 'how to beat a speeding ticket' that I found interesting (hope I never have to use it!). |
 |
| #4 - Totally Free Cars. Steer clear. When I landed on this guy's page, I wasn't sure whether he was really offering free cars, college tuition, vacation getaways, or work-at-home scenarios (He's got ads for all those on his page and more!). His FAQ is pretty good, but if he's trying to push all those things from one web page, do you think he's doing any of them very well? Me either. |
